Takane Electric History

Seventy years of Takane Electric,
set alongside the events of the times.

Message from the Director

Carrying the trust we inherited
into the next era, as brothers

The story of Takane Electric began in 1955 with its founders, Kozo and Emiko Yamada. Their aspirations passed to Takashi and Yumiko Murakami, and for two generations a husband and wife together protected and grew the company. Now my brother and I have taken up that baton.

For a company to last, what matters is not show but building up the everyday with integrity. Keeping people safe. Keeping our promises. Honing our skills. Looking after our colleagues. Each of these has become the trust of our customers and the community, and has led to the next job.

What we most want to focus on now is building a company where people grow. Learning the basics, even without experience. Working towards qualifications. Having effort and growth properly recognised. And being a workplace that families, too, can feel at ease about.

While keeping the trust our predecessors built, we will have the courage to change what needs changing. Together with all our employees, we will build a company we can hand on to the next generation.
